Link, the hero of time, one of Nintendo's most iconic characters, though they have a lot of them. He has been part of the Super Smash Bros franchise for well over two decades and even got other Links in the same game, like Toon and young Link.Know more

Though not always the same person, Link is the chosen Hero of Time tasked with saving Hyrule from evil grasps using his part of the Triforce, courage. Whether in Ganondorf's reign by rescuing princess Zelda, saving the realm from a Lunar impact, or any other number of herculean tasks. Link is often a silent protagonist who dares adventure into regions and the world to save Hyrule. Though he does not act alone, many characters have helped Link in one world or across various timelines.
As one of Nintendo's most valuable franchises, Link has been part of the Super Smash Brothers franchise since its inception. In each taking in the look of one of the recent games in the Legend of Zelda Franchise. For Super Smash Bros Ultimate, this was as Hero of the Wild, from the critically and commercially successful Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild. For Super Smash 4, he was a mix of Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess, which was present on Super Smash Bros Brawl, and the following entry of Legend of Zelda Skyward Sword. In his two initial appearances, The original N64 title and Super Smash Bros Melee, Link appears as his Ocarina of Time self.
Currently, Link sits in a conformable in the upper half of the character tier lists for most competitors. His Ultimate kit proved an upgrade of previous iterations of the character and, as such, developed a good following of talented players. But as the meta evolved through the years, it became clear that very little made Link strong, though nothing made him clearly weak. Given the existence of another two Links in the game, one of which is arguably stronger, finding good Link players is a bit like finding a golden rupee.
