More about Bodvar:
In the first stanza in The Saga of Bödvar Bearson, it was written, “I speak, you noble Vikings, of a warrior who surpassed you all. I tell of a great bear-man who overcame giants and armies and of how he came to leave our world and challenge the Gods.”
Bödvar the Bearson was born from a Viking mother and a bear father; growing up, he was always feared and distrusted by the people he was supposed to call his own. Bödvar’s first nemesis happened to be the giant bear known as Gnothnar, who happened to be his very own brother. In a battle that would last seven days, it was Bödvar who would come out in victory, defeating his brother. Leading his Skandian people against the Witch Queen of Helheim, slaying the White Dragon Sorcerer, Bödvar had lived his life as a conquering hero.
Once he single-handedly handled the Giant Wars, managing to trap the Fire Giant King in his very own volcano, Bödvar had felt like his work was finally done. However, he had always felt doomed to never reach Valhalla due to no one ever defeating him. He had decided to travel to Asgard on his own accord, breaking down the doors and letting himself in.
Bödvar was just about everything Valhalla had been hoping for, the land of endless rewards of feasting and fighting. It was no one other than Bödvar himself who sat among Valhalla’s greatest champions.
Bödvar wields the Grapple Hammer as a primary weapon and the Sword as his secondary weapon.
The Grapple Hammer is a heavy weapon with a lack of flowing attacks but is an amazing weapon to punish opponents with heavy damage and knockback. As the name suggests, you can also grapple with it.
The Sword is a quick attacking but lower damage weapon, it’s kit is good for both defensive zoning and building up damage with combo attacks without losing pressure, perfect for beginners learning the game.
Bödvar is seen as a great choice of legend to learn the game with, as well as being a rather big force to be reckoned with
Bödvar’s stats are relatively balanced around the board, having his strength and dexterity only slightly above his defense and agility.
