More about Koji:
Katsu the Blind had once said, “For years we knew him in every back alley and gambling house across the empire. Disarmingly humble, good gambler, only a few of us could see the fierce purpose in his eyes.”
Being the second son, Koji himself knew that he’d never be the one to take over his father’s school or even be the one to wield the family blade. Accepting his fate, Koji decided to make his own techniques, one without a joke of a name.
But soon, that changes. Frightened by the “School of the Demon Slaying Sword,” a dishonorable shogun sent out a hit, ordering Koji’s father as well as all of his students to be killed. Attempting to save the family legacy, Koji was forced to take the family blade and evacuate, keeping the katana safe and with him at any cost.
Many forbearing and cautious years later, Koji was finally ready to strike. Wanting a crowd as he approached the evil Shogun, Koji revealed himself and his identity and declared that he would restore his family’s home. The Shogun couldn’t help himself but laugh at his attempt. Knowing there was one way through this, Koji dashed through that hall, slicing the Shogun in half, followed by the shocked guards shortly after.
Koji rested and caught his breath as the alarms went off throughout the palace where the attack took place. A man had approached Koji through the shadows of the hallway, one with red eyes. The unknown man would introduce himself – his name was Kagima. Just like Koji, he was a second son. Kagima offered him an escape route. With power unknown and a guaranteed path to safety, all he had to do to achieve it was to part with the family blade. Koji gazed down at his katana, reminiscing on all of the stories his father would tell when he was a child.
Due to the alarms, three thousand guards entered the chamber, finding the demon’s head lying on the floor. Not afraid of the mass amount of combatants, Koji dashed himself forward and began to plow through the mobs, hacking and slashing his way to a place in Valhalla.
Koji wields the Bow as his primary weapon and the Sword as his secondary weapon.
The Bow is a weapon well-suited for aggressive attacks and pressuring your opponent; its hitbox is small but makes up for it with its high damage and quick attacks.
The Sword is a quick attacking but lower damage weapon, it’s kit is good for both defensive zoning and building up damage with combo attacks without losing pressure, perfect for beginners learning the game.
While Koji’s stats are rather heavily weighted into one stat, with his dexterity being drastically higher than his strength, defense, and agility. His strong and fast signatures greatly make up for any weakness he has.
