High Priestess Alerial had once said, "Fa'zul and his Azothian Cultists have found the map and even now seek the seven soul stones. You, the greatest warriors in the land, must find the stones before Fa'zul. If you fail, Fa'zul will use the stones to summon the Lichlord Azoth from the realm of death and doom Elyria."
King Azoth the Great had vowed that his own empire would remain for the rest of time. Delving himself into the dark arts and ancient magic, Azoth’s sorcerer would craft him seven soul stones; when all stones are brought together, they will summon Azoth out of death itself to keep fulfilling his vows.
One thousand years after Azoth’s death, his loyal servants of his long-forgotten kingdom would collect and assemble the seven soul stones. Azoth awakened, being as ruthless and talented in combat as he ever was if only showing slight rust. With his revival, Lichlord Azoth began his first reign. Only after a saga of excellent heroism, the servants of light were able to finally defeat Azoth, scattering the soul stones in the process. The Valkyries were greatly impressed by both his talent in battle as well as his persistence. Giving a seat to the Lichlord in Valhalla.
Though he was now in Valhalla, the vow was never forgotten. Azothian cultists would gather his soul stones once more, and Azoth had found himself right back in Elyria. Just like before, a desperate team of heroes grouped together, only barely defeating him. Lord Azoth the Might, Asothos the Terrible, Azothus Triumphant. Time and time again, he’d rise from Valhalla, always reprising his role as a curse for all things living.
In Azoth’s afterlife, he’s more than happy to stay retired in Asgard, spending most of his time reading, an occasional duel, and taking care of his cat Dander. By the Old Law, even the worst curses must contain a sed for its undoing. Azoth can finally break his never-ending cycle by conflicting at least ten thousand selfless acts. Unsure if his pet care counts, he very may be at one.
Azoth wields the Bow as his primary weapon and the Axe as his secondary weapon.
The Bow is a weapon greatly suited for aggressive attacks and pressuring your opponent; its hitbox is small but makes up for it with its high damage and quick attacks.
The Axe is a slow but very menacing weapon. Its attacks are fantastic for knockback as well as large bursts of damage.
Azoth is seen as one of the tankiest characters in the game, but his bow is much better than his axe.
Azoths stats are much in favor of his strength and defense, leaving him as a slow yet highly damaging hero.
