Two Coast of FighterZ Duel Academy: PC Editions #39 and #28

Community is a moving power for every fighting game at any stage of its lifespan. For Dragon Ball FighterZ, community activities are totally crucial right now — we are in between two World Tours (after the recent Global Finals), and it feels like only Evo 2023 will be the next official DBFZ event.

Sure, the game is present at other big multi-game events, such as Combo Breaker. But regular online tourneys keep being the core of its esports competition. 

We at DashFight love highlighting various DBFZ community tournaments. Would you be interested in joining them? Would you like to be a viewer and enjoy a great fighting esports show?

FighterZ Duel Academy is a series by NeoJudai. It has a few “departments,” depending on the region (NA East and West Coasts) and the hardware (PC and PS4).

We made a post about FighterZ Duel Academy at the beginning of 2023, and it’s time to check out what’s going on in the dimension of DBFZ esports.

FighterZ Duel Academy East Coast PC #39, Stream, Top 4

INZEM had a wonderful run in this tournament and demonstrated the true power of Goku — having the Base form on Mid and Super Saiyan on Anchor. The player reached the Winners Semi-Final without losing a game. And then, he defeated Kayder to proceed to the Final.

The main fight of the tournament was between INZEM and Hikari. The players faced each other in the Winners Final, and INZEM got a good victory, 3:1. 

Hikari had to defeat Kayder to proceed to the Grand Final.

The final match of the event was very tough. First, Hikari won two games and was at the brackets reset point. But then, INZEM won three games in a row and the whole tournament.

FighterZ Duel Academy West Coast PC #28, Stream, Top 4

Garlic Bread played against Danjol_ in the Winners Final and had quite an advantage throughout the fight. The opponent could take one game but eventually was sent to the Losers side.

In the Losers Final, Danjol_ defeated Alekovich. And then, the player gave a nice fight to Garlic Bread. But eventually, Garlic Bread turned out to be stronger this time.
