Evo 2021 Street Fighter V schedule, brackets and results
Only four players remain in the Evo 2021 Online Finals. Only one is the Evo Champion in each region.

Evo started with so many fights… Oh, that’s exactly what you would expect from the biggest fighting games tournament of the year! All right then, and who’s won?

All the newest information from the Street Fighter V Evo 2021 Online will be added to this post, including the tournament schedule, participants of the final Top 4 parts, and of course, names of the latest SFV Evo Champions. Also, DashFight has some exclusive comments from analysts, Evo participants, and tournament winners — don't miss them out.

On August 7-8, we had the Evo 2021 Online Finals in two regions: Europe (East and West) and North America (East and West)

Exclusive Pre-Event Comments from VolcanoRosso

Here is what one of the players in the Top 4 Winners bracket, VolcanoRosso, has to say about his experience on the tournament:

What’s your general impressions of playing at Evo 2021 Online so far?

Evo being online scared me at first, but it did not cause a problem in the matches I played, I got lucky with the netcode.

Are you happy with your performance?

I'm happy to reach Top 4 without any losses.

Have you already faced difficult opponents?

I play seriously with everybody and all my opponents are hard.

Who would be the toughest opponent for you in the Top 4 matches?

Jamie_TTM, because he is an online E. Honda player.

Europe West — SFV Evo 2021 Online Regional Finals

Top 4 players in Europe West

Some pretty strong players couldn't make it to the Finals in Western Europe.

Mister Crimson, the winner of CPT 2021 France/Spain/Portugal, left the tournament after the match against GuN_SLinGa. Then, the same guy defeated Luffy in the Losers Round 2. And then, GuN_SLinGa himself was eliminated by Musclenoob.

Ryan Hart and Phenom were out of Evo 2021 Online after the Losers Round 1. Problem X is the winner of this Losers bracket, so 4 players who entered the Top 12 part proceeded to the FInals.

Exclusive Pre-Event Cooments from Jammerz

DashFight reached out to a well-known Street Fighter commentator, Jammerz. We asked him a few questions about Evo Street Fighter pool stage in EU West:

Now, since we know Top 4 players in EU West, is there a favorite who has some advantages (at least character-wise)?

This EU West Top 4 is definitely filled with many favourites. Hurricane Vs Infexious never fails to deliver, the question for me is what preparations has Hurricane taken? Infexious got the better of Hurricane in the Intel World Open closed qualifiers recently (beating him in the winners final and grand finals). So I'm almost certain that Hurricane will want to avoid losing to Infexious again.

As for Musclenoob Vs Problem X, this is something you only ever see on either player's home stream (I cannot actually recall them facing each other in a tournament environment). Problem X has an excellent record against Ken players in general due to it being a good matchup for Bison.

This is also a great opportunity for Musclenoob to showcase his talents because he's a great player who is widely known for his V-Skill 2 usage with Ken, but internationally he's isn't as well-known as his opponent.

Has something surprised you in the pool results?

It's difficult to say what was a surprising result (in Pools or even the top 12). Gunslinga taking out France's top 2 players? (Mister Crimson and Luffy) Phenom not making it to top 8?

UK & Europe is littered with players who can cause an upset or have a great tournament day. So a lot of results do not really surprise me these days.

What are your impressions on the current Evo Online format so far?

Honestly, I am extremely excited that all UK players made it to the top 4. Especially when you consider players like MisterCrimson, Luffy, Takamura, and Phenom who are some of the strongest players Europe has to offer (they have been magnificent in their own right throughout the years).

I am a bit surprised that only the top 4 is being streamed instead of the usual top 8. I guess it's probably due to time constraints.

But all in all, I am really proud that the UK scene continues to illustrate why we are so strong in Street Fighter.

Exclusive Pre-Event Comment from RobTV

We reached out to RobTV (who recently won Capcom Cup Midwest 1) for his comment on this tournament:

You ever notice how Hollywood makes everything look a liiiiittle bit better? Except for the live action “Avatar: The Last Airbender” movie. What were they thinking?! Anyway, EVO looks even better with Big Hollywood in the Finals :moneybag: :100:

Exclusive Pre-Event Comment from Punk

Are you interested in Punk's mood before the Evo Finals (and after his victory at CPT NA East 1)? Then, here is the quote:

I’m just playing to make some content since I already won CPT. Evo online is just fun and for content, for me. Win or lose doesn’t matter too much since I already won what’s most important.

Exclusive Pre-Event Comment from ChrisCCH

And here what ChrisCCH says about his Evo run, up to the Top 4 Finals:

I'm glad to get the chance to play in EVO this year! Even if it's just online, I'm grateful to the tournament organizers for hosting this event. I would've loved to see the top 24 streamed since there were so many good matches there, but I'm certain the top 4 will be just as good. I'm especially excited to see Jot play in the winners finals!
I'm pretty excited to play Nephew tomorrow. I haven't played him since the Intel World Open Finals, so I'm looking forward to seeing how the meta between us will change going into this match.
