Biography

Story

Geese grew up in a poor family. His mother was American, while his father was an Austrian terrorist who abandoned the family when Geese was born. Working for two, Geese did everything he could to make ends meet, taking up various odd jobs. That didn't prove to be enough, and eventually, Geese's mother died of hunger and poor health. Instead of dwelling on it, Geese channeled his anger towards finding his father and killing him. However, his assassination attempt was quickly foiled by his half-brother, Wolfgang Krauser

For some time, Geese tried to bury his anger and turned to religion, but it proved to be unsuccessful. Instead, he realized that the answer to everything is power, which comes both with wealth and strength. As part of his journey to achieving strength, he trained under some of the best martial artists in the world known as "Three Brothers of Godly Battle," alongside Jeff Bogard and Cheng Sinzan. Another part of his efforts was concerned with making advancements in the criminal world, making connections with a mafia of South Town.

Years later, Geese targets and successfully overtakes Mr. Big, the kingpin of the South Town mafia, becoming a new leader of the criminal world. To further secure his position, Geese opened Howard Connection and built Geese Tower, separating his illegal activities from the business.

His appearance in Tekken 7 is closely tied to his premise of obtaining more power. Curious about the Devil Gene and its potential, Geese enters the seventh King of Iron Fist tournament to obtain the Gene for himself.

Personality

Geese is an immensely ambitious man, striving for wealth of every kind. As someone with a massive ego and a fair share of pride, he rarely pays attention to others or concerns himself with moral righteousness, although he is known to show respect to fighters who have impressed him. He is also weirdly fascinated with Japanese culture and aesthetics despite being a proud American himself. His estate is an excellent example of this, as it's a house built in a Japanese style that nonetheless features many patriotic decorations, such as USA flags.

Appearance

Geese is a tall man with a chiseled physique with very defined features. He has short, blond, slicked-back hair, blue eyes, and a large horizontal scar on his chest. His outfits in Tekken 7 are relatively simple. Player 1 outfit sees him in tabi socks and red hakama pants with an elaborate design. Meanwhile, Player 2 outfit has a more formal look with leather shoes, purple suit pants, purple shirt, purple leather gloves, red tie, and silver vest decorated with a red handkerchief.

Playstyle

Despite coming from a 2D franchise, Geese is a reasonably straightforward character who feels comfortable in Tekken's system. Unlike someone like Akuma, Geese doesn't rely on having meter quite as much. With a variety of great pokes, Geese can efficiently pressure opponents while discouraging them from trying to interrupt with several strong counter-hit launchers. Should Geese lose his turn or get pushed to the wall, he has a risky but very powerful parry that swaps sides and allows Geese to start his offense. That's where his meter usually comes in, as various EX moves allow for new combos routes and extremely high damage that gives Geese near unrivaled comeback potential when he has meter.

Overall, Geese is a powerful and versatile character, with an expansive toolkit that makes him comfortable in any situation. While players uncomfortable or unfamiliar with 2D inputs might find him more challenging, he is extremely rewarding for those who dedicate time to mastering his unique options.
