DBFZ at PlayStation Fight Nights Invitational (February 2023 Edition)
These tournaments consist of pretty interesting matches, and we often can witness a variety of DBFZ teams

It’s great to see how easily accessible fighting esports tournaments has become — sure, we are talking about the technical aspect here. Players have to invest a lot of time and effort to be ready for competitive matches. But you need to press just a few buttons to join a party. On the PS consoles, the magic is possible thanks to the service PlayStation Tournaments.

Not only does it have many smaller events, but also, it regularly invites players and viewers to relatively big tournaments. This is a great chance to demonstrate your skills in various games, including Dragon Ball FighterZ.

DBFZ Invitational on PlayStation Tournaments is pretty unusual in that whirl of events. Top players from the regular (biweekly) tourneys participate in it. We already made a recap of the December 2022 Invitational. And here we are with a fresh such tournament from February 2023.

DM Dany faced three opponents before the Grand Final and lost no game in these matches.

Goku_20XX fell into the Losers bracket after the match against CertifiedDevilish. Eventually, the player defeated the same opponent in the Losers Semi and Legendary_Jago in the Losers Final.

The final match of the tournament was mainly in favor of Dany, but Goku_20XX still had some very good moments. Like the fight of the last characters in the final game — Zamasu almost kills Gotenks and then loses all his health.

DM Dany is the Winner of DBFZ PlayStation Fight Nights Invitational (February 2023). Congratulations!

DBFZ Team Composition at PS Fight Nights Invitational

Most of the players stuck to one team throughout the tournament. But Legendary_Jago demonstrated quite a flexibility in DBFZ team composition.

Sure, there are many other options to play at community events: such as City of Mayhem in North America and Online WarriorZ in Europe.

Meanwhile, the main event of DBFZ esports is right around the corner — the World Tour Global Finals happens on March 4-5. We already know most participants, but two players can get their tickets through the Last Chance Qualifiers.
