Legends fall. Legends rise
This tournament was filled with different Legends than the events in other regions. And we are talking here about both the game characters and top players.
Europe demonstrated the power of Tezca. No one could stop Macheeeete with this newest character. Asuri totally dominated in South America — four of Top 8 competitors played her, including the Champion, Kyna.
In Australia, Asmodie proved to be as strong as the year before. In Southeast Asia, himwy showed the relevance of the “original Legend”, Bödvar, on the modern competitive scene.
So, what happened in North America? Here we had the BCX 2022 Champion, Impala, and some of the strongest players in the entire world of Brawlhalla esports, such as luna, STING RAY, Raydish, megD, and Sandstorm. In this recap of the Brawlhalla Winter Championship 2023 NA, you’ll find the stream, a short description of the events, the results, and a list of Legends in use. Let’s dive into it!

Raydish had pretty tough Semi-Final and Final against Sandstorm and STING RAY. Both these matches finished with 3:2 — and both times Petra of Raydish was a little bit stronger.
Meanwhile, STING RAY kicked luna to the lower bracket, where the #1 PR player had to face Impala, the current World Champion.
The match luna vs Impala was incredibly even. The result was decided on the last stock, with red health for both players.
But then luna was defeated by STING RAY once again. Just look at this final KO!

STING RAY tried to repeat his success with Lord Vraxxx, but that did not work against Raydish. And even switching to Azoth did not help much. Sting Ray managed to even the fight only in game 3, but it was probably too late.
Raydish won 3:0 and earned the title of Winter Champion 2023 in North America. Congratulations!
