Claudio

Story

Claudio is a leader of the exorcist organization, Archers of Sirius has been fighting supernatural forces since antiquity. Little is known about them outside of that. However, Mishima Zaibatsu suddenly approached them, requesting the exorcists to join the conglomerate, Archers of Sirius refused, but Mishima Zaibatsu continued pressuring them. When news of this reaches Claudio, he immediately begins his investigation of Mishima Zaibatsu.

Everything goes awry when Heihachi Mishima and Nina Williams directly invade Archers of Sirius headquarters in Duomo Di Sirio. Claudio is forced to confront the two of them, still declining Heihachi's proposal until he's defeated. Claudio then realizes that they share the same goal, deciding to assist Heihachi, providing him information and expertise about the possible whereabouts of Jin and the strength of the devil gene.

Later on, Heihachi dismisses the services of Claudio and Archers of Sirius, revealing that he was merely using them to set up Kazuya.

Personality

Claudio is shown to be a flamboyant and cocky fighter with confidence in his skill. While he taunts opponents in battle, he's generally portrayed as courteous outside of it.

Appearance

Claudio wears a complex outfit with black and white shoes, white pants, white gloves, a white shirt, a grey vest, and a black and white tailcoat with golden brims. His boots, belt buckle, and back of the tailcoat also feature metallic ram skull decorations. Claudio has tattoos on his right arm covered with a black cloth binding and a tattoo under his left eye.

Playstyle

Claudio has the least moves out of any Tekken 7 character with only 57 moves. Despite lacking in variety, his core toolkit is very powerful, featuring a good approach and keep-out options. He also has a unique power-up mechanic that grants him access to very strong and safe moves. Generally, Claudio is strongest after pushing opponents against a wall. With nowhere for them to run, Claudio can more freely pressure them with his best pokes and provoke them into getting counter hit, letting Claudio score a wall combo. Such a simple with no surprises can be difficult for newer players, as defending against Claudio is not as tricky relative to many other characters. However, his solid toolkit will reward players who have a good grasp of Tekken fundamentals.
