DBFZ at Juicy Monthly, October: To the Level of Perfection

Juicy Monthly is a regular fighting esports gathering in Orlando, Florida, and it has DBFZ tourneys. Sure, it’s kind of a local tournament, but thanks to a big concentration of very strong players around the area, the level of Juice Monthly is pretty impressive (it’s obviously bigger than Southern Cross Up 2022).

Let’s take a look at some of the DBFZ matches! Most teams in the Top 4 part had at least one brave character choice. And for some players, this tournament could be a very nice opportunity to shine.

Drac used his chance to defeat Punk in the Winners Quarter-Final, but then he lost to Lucar and had to face Punk once again, in the Losers Semi-Final. This time, Drac lost 0:2.

For Punk, this tournament was another opportunity to prove his power in DBFZ. After the player moved on from his SFV success, he can’t properly establish his personal brand in this new environment. Still, Lucar did not let Punk reach the Grand Final.

For Lucar himself, Juicy Monthly October was an opportunity to win a tournament after he almost did that at First Attack 2022. This time, Lucar was stopped by Perfección.

The Champion did everything almost perfectly. In the Winners Final, Perfección defeated Lucar quite confidently. The Grand Final was tougher — Lucar reached the bracket reset point, but Perfección stopped UI Goku’s clutch twice. And it seems like Perfección used his opportunities very well.

A comeback with Cell by Perfección.

Perfección keeps his whole team, destroys Android 16 of Lucar, and proceeds to the Grand Final.

Krillin as an Anchor? It was brave but not really successful for Drac in the match against Punk.

UI Goku’s Assist to open up Blue Gogeta and destroy him.

Videl vs Lab Coat and Vegito — Lucar defeats Punk and proceeds to the Grand Final.

“No, no clutch for you, UI Goku.” And no Grand Final Reset for Lucar.

UI Goku is dead once again, and Perfección is DBFZ Juicy Monthly Champion in October.
