Chun-Li

At a young age, Chun-Li was influenced by Bruce Lee movies and the classical Chinese stage play Peking Opera. Thanks to these, and her father's encouragement, she became a proficient fighter by her late teens.

After her father's disappearance, and once she came of age, she became a detective and managed to join Interpol to find clues about her father's kidnappers. After coming to blows with M. Bison in one of her missions, she is reassigned to work exclusively on Shadaloo cases.

In one particular mission, Chun-Li manages to fight M. Bison, nearly defeating him. But as she offers him to surrender and face justice, he kills himself by overcharging his Psycho power. Or so it seemed at the time. And despite not having hard proof of his death, Interpol and other international actions believed him dead.

After these events, Chun-Li continued her work with the organization, mostly trying to stop former Shadaloo and S.I.N agents still active in the field.
