Love and War 2023: Romance of Brawlhalla Esports

Having officially sponsored community events is an absolute blessing. We have more highly-motivated participants, even more spectacular matches, and even brighter prospects for the whole competitive scene.

In February, Brawlhalla officially supports quite a few tournaments — we listed them earlier.

In this post on DashFight, we highlight the European community tournament, Love and War 2023, focusing on its 1v1 matches. Our recap has the stream, results, and a list of Brawlhalla Legends in use.

This event is part of the Brawl League series. In January, we witnessed Brawl League: FrostFight 2023.

Pavelski entered the Top 8 part through the Winners bracket. In the Semi-Final, the player faced Mounir and had to switch from Mordex to Jaeyun to win 3:1. In the Winners Final against deffy, Pavelski lost, and even taking Val did not help.

In the Losers bracket, Pavelski stuck to Mordex and, despite losing one game, managed to destroy Tezca of Macheeeete (the winner of Brawlhalla Winter Championship in Europe).

The Grand Final matches were again between Pavelsky and deffy. This time, it was deffy who played different characters trying to adapt to the opponent, while Pavelsi continued fighting with Mordex. Both Koji and Asuri were (almost) powerless. In a spectacular style, Pavelski reset the bracket and won the tournament.

Pavelski is the Champion of Brawl League: Love and War 2023. Congratulations!

Godly won this tournament in 2022. Love and War repeatedly happens close to the Valhallentine’s celebrations.

2v2 Love and War 2023 | Stream, Grand Final

In the 2v2 section of this tournament, Delta / TM. fell into the Losers brackets after the Semi-Finals against Blew / Kresuu. But they returned to defeat the same opponents twice and claim the Champions title.

An officially sponsored event for North American players is Moose Wars, Frozen Fury. It’s planned for February 25.

In addition to the traditional fighting fun, we can enjoy cool modes such as Brawlball (which also has esports tournaments) and Horde (which has a new level of difficulty, Nightmare Horde).
