Nightmare Horde: Brawlhalla’s Experiment with Difficulty Level

One of the great features of Brawlhalla is the possibility to enjoy various game modes. It’s not just kicking each other out of the platform (even if this is the main fun) but also other types of matches (like Brawlball) and even other gameplay concepts.

One of such modes is Horde. Your Brawlhalla Legend becomes a brave hero that protects mystical portals from countless Gargoyles. This mode is not new, but with the recent patch, it gets a pretty fresh feature — Nightmare Horde.

Does Nightmare from Soulcalibur come to fight alongside your Legend? However fun it sounds, such an Epic Crossover is not happening (yet). Nightmare Horde is a significantly increased difficulty for the Horde mode.

The waves of Gargoyles become much more terrifying. Will you be able to defeat the new, “upgraded” creatures?

This and other game modes are available for Custom Lobbies and Offline Play. Having friends covering your back during battles of Nightmare Horde sounds like a very good idea.

Of course, the primary fights in Brawlhalla cannot be stopped even by the strongest Gargoyles. And the game does a great job motivating us to participate in such matches — for example, by giving cool skins and items as rewards in the current Battle Pass Season 7.
