Armada Esports is closing operations

Professional esports organization and Smash Ultimate team Armada are unfortunately closing operations on February 28, 2022. The organization existed since August 2017 and gave a home to many great content creators and players, such as Matthew "Elegant" Fitzpatrick, Yonni, Andrew "Syryp" Mo, and Joshua "Shoe" Shoeman. On behalf of DashFight, we wish everyone related to Armada Esports more victories and bright new beginnings.

The Coinbox #2

The second installment of the brand new Smash Ultimate weekly tournament series by Team Liquid, with a prize pool of $2000 for each event, took place last Thursday. Edgar "Sparg0" Valdez, Carlos "Sonix" Perez, and Alan "AlanDiss" Carrillo took the top three placements.

Punk talking DBFZ

Ah, good old Punk. This time he came up with quite a controversial opinion of the North American Dragon Ball FighterZ player base, which caused the community reaction lasting till, well, now. No one denies Punk's success in Street Fighter V and his influence on the entire FGC, but maybe this time he just took a step into the ground he's not quite familiar with. Anyway, you're free to check the entire discussion down below.

Valhallentine 2022

With Valentine's Day upon us, a special event started in Brawlhalla. The players now can enjoy a login bonus, new skins for Vector and Yumiko, and a bunch of other cosmetic stuff like color schemes, a new podium, and multiple skins for other characters and weapons.

Love and War 2022, an online Brawlhalla event dedicated to Valhallentine celebration already took place on February 12. It featured 2v2 and 1v1 tournaments with a total prize pool of $2000. Check the winners down below.

Tweedy the triple champion

Last weekend Tommy Tweedy achieved an unbelievable result by winning literally everything at The Kolloseum Season 2 Finals. He became a Mortal Kombat X, Mortal Kombat 11, and Injustice 2 champion with no chances left for other competitors.

Capcom Countdown

A mysterious timer appeared this morning on the Capcom Games website. The countdown is about to end right after the Capcom Pro Tour 2021 Season Final so we might be expecting some major announcements at the start of next week. Is it going to be the next Street Fighter title or maybe a brand new Marvel vs Capcom installment? However, it also might be something not related to fighting games at all. Anyway, we're eager to know more and hoping for some big news next Monday.

That's it from us for now. Have we missed something? Let us know! Follow DashFight on Twitter and YouTube to stay tuned to everything related to your favorite fighting games, players, characters, and events. Have a good one!
