With just 10 days before the final Capcom Cup for Street Fighter V, we now have all the groups that will be at the tournament. There will be a total of 47 players in 8 groups who will fight it out to make it to top 16.
The draws for the tournament were held on the 2nd of February, 2023, by RobTV and FGC legend Alex Valle. There are currently 46 players in the draw, with the 47th player joining one of the last groups once the LCQ takes place.
The draws weren't as random as people feared as the regions were separated, meaning that players from the same region will not eliminate one another.
Unfortunately, Dookie, who was the representative for South America, will not participate and had to give up his spot. This was taken over by the person he defeated to win his place in Capcom Cup, Frozen. This same fate befell Shaka22, who was replaced by Younghou, and NarutoRSA, who was replaced by Ren.
The group stage will be best of three matches, single round robin. As mentioned earlier, the top two players will qualify with the group's winner landing on the winners' side of top 16, and the second will be on the losers' side of top 16.
The official Capcom Fighters account tweeted the full groups.
