Soulcalibur VI at VSFighting XI: Defeat the Champion

It’s been a year since we could witness SC6 matches at the previous such event, VSFighting X. Something has changed since then, like the list of Top 8 participants. Only three players repeated this achievement, including the previous Champion, SsyluS-SC. But sure, some things are not different — like the community’s passion for Soulcalibur and the level of excitement during the matches.

Let’s capture this new SC6 tournament in the fighting esports history thanks to DashFight’s post. It has VODs, the results, and characters in use.

MercyMainBTW was super strong in the Winners Semi-Final against Aarpia. And in fact, the Winners Final also did not bring too much trouble for the player — Neon was defeated 3:1.

Meanwhile, the run for SsyluS-SC was much more difficult. He had two last-game victories vs SomethingRefined and Aarpia (with an impressive recovery from 0:2). The Losers Semi and Final were somewhat more confident, against AndyrooSC and Neon.

MercyMainBTW played amazingly throughout the whole Grand Final. Is this the power of Hilde? SsyluS-SC won only one game, still having many great moments. The opponent was just better this time.
