Glutonny is second in both singles and doubles
Last weekend, Waco, TX, was where every high-tier Super Smash Bros. Ultimate player wanted to be. Rise 'N Grind 2023 hosted the tournament in both singles and doubles brackets, and the number of players registered was pretty respectable.
Four hundred forty-three entrants participated in the Singles tournament, but, in the end, it all went down to the winners of two big tournaments of the last week. Miya, the winner of KAGARIBI #11, and Glutonny, the winner of the ReWired Fest 2023, clashed in the grand final, and the Japanese player was stronger.
The top-8 of the tournament is as follows:

- 2nd place — Gluttony — $1,320
- 3rd place — Lima — $990
- 4th place — MuteAce — $660
- 5th place — Anathema and Tarik — $330 each
- 7th place — SHADIC and Geist — $165 each

The Doubles tournament attracted 75 pairs, and among them was Gluttony together with Lui$. The finalist of the French Esports Fighting Games Player of the Year made it through the upper bracket, but in the end, he was denied by Mexican duo MkLeo — MKBigBoss.
