Two Japanese players had super confident victories in the Winners Semi-Final — Moai and DAI. Both played one character, Michael Roa Valdamjong, so we got a chance to see a mirror Winners Final. Moai was better with those lightning strikes, so he proceeded to the Grand Final, Winners side.

jimmyjtran had an impressive victory over the Evo 2022 Champion, Jing. But in the Losers Final, he could not do the same vs DAI. The Grand Final turned out to be fully Japanese and with two Roa.
