Mario Gallo Bestino

Story

A member and deputy minister of the Holy Church, Mario Gallo Bestino, is one of the sons of Cardinal Laurentis. Despite his apparent young age, Mario is a well-learned and experienced minister. 

During his story in Melty Blood: Type Lumina, Mario spends much of his time tracking down and giving chase to Arcueid and Shiki, all the while trying to figure out a way to solve Laurentis’ aging problem. In his story, he rejected Aoko’s offer to kill Roa and obtain his research, leading to Aoko to do it herself, destroying Roa’s research in the process.

Personality

Although committed to the Chruch’s mission, Mario is far more egotistical and sadistic than he lets on. He has a clear disdain for fools and inept people, choosing to lash out violently when encountered with one. Ultimately, he is focused on his personal mission of extending Laurentis’ life.

Playstyle

Mario is primarily a zoning character. His puppeteering skills, that being his nun, both primary and secondary, afford him great flexibility to contest the ground and the air allowing him to impart a great deal of pressure on his opponents. With that said, Mario’s defensive capabilities are limited, and the nuns, all be it strong, are also fragile and have a cooldown.

Appearance

Mario’s emerald green eyes are one of his defying features, followed by his flowing blonde hair and fair skin. Although a minister for the Church, Mario chooses to dress casually and in accordance with his age. Most often, he sports a black and red hoodie with baggy shorts and sports shoes.
