After so many years, Fatal Fury is bringing it all back with a new installment in the series. No release date as of yet, but the short teaser does show the new 3D graphics for the series.

Riot Games Showcases Project L's Core Mechanics

The development team at Riot Games had already given us plenty to look forward to a few days ago when they announced they were bringing their upcoming fighting game to the Evo 2023 floor with a newly revealed champion in Yasuo. But during their time, the team also provided the first glimpse of how the game should be played with a tutorial video. No release either, but it is quickly becoming clear that Riot is engaging its massive marketing engines for it!

New Killer Instinct Update

Following the KI invitational tournament, developers announced they would once again receive another round of lover and care with a 10th Anniversary Update, including balance changes, improved matchmaking, and 4K support for the latest Xbox consoles. All for free, of course.

New Street Fighters 6 Outfits Coming

Street Fighter 6 is on a roll as of late, and their prime time spot for Evo 2023, alongside the biggest bracket in the history of the tournament is reason alone to celebrate, but there is always just one more thing. Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising updates include the new character, Grimnir, enhancements to the visual presentation, a new gameplay trailer for Nier, new ranking system, rollback and crossplay, and the release date: November 30, 2023.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl 2: Gameplay Details

The reveal highlighted various improvements, such as:

• New, fully analog movements — the characters can walk and run;
• Rolling, spot dodging, and air dodging are new defense options;
• No RPS mechanic;
• Light and strong attacks get new horizontal directions;
• Strong attacks are chargeable;
• Blocking bubbles get Smash-like features but with a parry opportunity;
• New fighting resource is Slime meter — for example, to enhance Special attacks;
• Characters get Super attacks;
• Slime Cancel is available

Season Pass 3 and Johnny Revealed for Guilty Gear –Strive–

During Evo 2023, ArcSystem Works shared some more details about the future of Guilty Gear -Strive-, revealing Season Pass 3 in a new trailer along with the first of four additional fighters and some new features. Jellyfish Pirates captain Johnny will be available from August 24 as part of the Season Pass 3. A good-hearted adventurer, armed with a katana and the support of his dedicated crew, will be able to impress the enemy with his extraordinary swordsmanship, alternating fast and strong attacks at close and medium range.

In addition, starting August 24, Guilty Gear -Strive- will feature two new systems that expand the gameplay: Wild Assault, which allows you to launch a swift attack that breaks through the enemy’s defenses, and Deflect Shield, which increases the distance between your opponent after a well-blocked strike.

Raven and Azucena revealed for Tekken 8

Prior to the start of the Tekken 7 Top 6 at Evo 2023, Harada came on stage to address the audience and bring us some fancy new trailers and reveals for Tekken 8. The first of which was Raven! As a final trailer before the start of Evo 2023's Tekken 7 Top 6, a new trailer was shown for Tekken 8, revealing a brand new character for the series, Azucena.

Mortal Kombat 1 Announced New Characters at Evo 2023

Teased throughout the entire week, today we finally had confirmation as to Reptile's appearance in Mortal Kombat 1, where he will be a playable character alongside Havik, from the Chaos Realm, and Ashrah, who made her debut in Mortal Kombat: Deception.
