SFL Announce Showmatch Between 2023 and 2024 World Champions

Blink Respawn is the next major Capcom Pro Tour stop, with the winner of the tournament booking a spot at Capcom Cup next year. 

However, among the many interesting features of the event, is a special showmatch between Good 8 Squad, the most recent winners of the Street Fighter League World Championship, which they took in March, and Bandits Gaming, who were the winners of last year's event.

The match will take place on the 18th of July 2025. 

The match promises to provide some great excitement; however, it is a little sad as the team lineups won't be the exact same as the teams that won their respective events. For instance, the Bandits team that won the SFL worlds consisted of MenaRD, Caba, Chris Tartarian, and Xiao Hai. However, both Chris T and Xiao Hai will not be partaking in this event instead replaced by LuiMan20, who was part of the Bandits team last season. Zhen will also be missing. 

Meanwhile, on the G8S side, YHC-Mochi, who was part of their team last season, is missing and will be replaced by Sahara, a recent signing for the team.
