Capcom Respond To Fear Over SF6 Content In Latest Shareholders Meeting
The company will back the game long term

Capcom recently released details from their 46th Ordinary General Meeting of Shareholders. Among the information made public were several questions and answers, some of which pertained to Street Fighter 6.

One question addressed the company’s plans for downloadable content (DLC). In response, Capcom stated that they would continue monitoring game development and industry trends to determine how best to approach future DLC releases.

Currently, four additional characters are scheduled to join the Street Fighter 6 roster. Sagat will be the first, followed by C. Viper, Alex, and Ingrid.

While Capcom did not reveal any specifics about future characters beyond this, their responses suggest a continued commitment to supporting the game in the long term.

Another question raised concerns about the perceived lack of content in the game. Capcom reassured both fans and shareholders that they are working to ensure future updates deliver a more satisfying experience.

Interestingly, a question about doping tests also came up, in which someone asked:

Q. Are doping tests currently implemented in esports events?

A. While the Company has not implemented such measures in the tournaments it hosts at this time, we have established official regulations, including controller usage guidelines, to ensure a fair playing environment. Players are required to comply with these rules as a condition for participation, thereby enabling equal opportunities for all competitors.

This is possibly in light of the recent (now lifted) ban on Tekken player Arslan Ash.
