UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes Announced During Evo 2023

Arс System Works has announced UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes on the debut day of Evo 2023, which will take place all weekend in Las Vegas.

The original Under Night In-Birth appeared over ten years ago, on September 20, 2012, for arcade and has since received several re-releases with enhancements for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo Switch, PC, and Amazon Luna. The sequel will be the final chapter in the Hollow Night storyline and is being produced in collaboration with French-Bread. You can participate in duels, choosing from 21 returning characters or someone from the new In-Births roster.

Stylistically, the game remains true to the ideas of its predecessor. It is made in high-quality pixel art style, and the fighters will become more elaborate thanks to dynamically detailed facial expressions. 

The combat system will also receive an expansion in the form of new moves and reworked balance and will also be more friendly to beginners. Network mode will receive support for Rollback Netcode, allowing you to fight with any opponent globally without experiencing connection difficulties.

UNDER NIGHT IN-BIRTH II Sys:Celes launches in 2024 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and PC (Steam). Spectators and participants of Evo 2023 will be able to try out the demo build during all days of the event at the Arc System Works EVO booth (#J2).
