The updated version of this platform fighting game is getting better and better
Quite recently, we discovered that Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl gets a sequel. NASB 2 brings a new campaign, improved gameplay, new characters, and new modes. Some of its most exciting features are Crossplay and voice acting.
Even more details on this release were revealed at Evo 2023. So, let’s look at the announcement!
The reveal highlighted various improvements, such as:
- New, fully analog movements — the characters can walk and run;
- Rolling, spot dodging, and air dodging are new defense options;
- No RPS mechanic;
- Light and strong attacks get new horizontal directions;
- Strong attacks are chargeable;
- Blocking bubbles get Smash-like features but with a parry opportunity;
- New fighting resource is Slime meter — for example, to enhance Special attacks;
- Characters get Super attacks;
- Slime Cancel is available (is it a NASB version of Roman Cancel?).
