Legacy of the Loyalists is a regional online Mortal Kombat 11 tournament organized by LongLiveJade. The event was held on February 28th, 2021 and featured 36 MK11 competitors from North America region. Apart from the standard 1v1, three rounds, double elimination format, the tournament featured one special rule: all the participants were banned from switching characters. Upon the registration, players had to state one character of their choice and remain faithful to them, or they would have to face the penalty of disqualification, although change of variations was permitted. One can speculate, the name "Legacy of the Loyalists" refers to the format of staying loyal to the picked characters.
