The most interesting mods for the most popular fighting games
We at DashFight love the creative energy of the fighting games community and sincerely enjoy many mods created within our favorite genre.
In this regular series, we highlight some of the many awesome mods. Here is Volume 20.
Guilty Gear Strive
Bringing these two characters into Guilty Gear Strive feels quite logical considering the soon-coming release of Under Night In-Birth II [Sys:Celes]. It’s especially cool because Arc System Works develops both games. The mod changes the colors of Bedman?, making the character and his sister look similar to Linne and Waldstein.
Johnny is one of the most unusual characters — in fighting games in general. His mechanic of using cards could be among the most unconventional (if there were no even more weird techniques of Asuka). But what if his card becomes a blue reverse card from Uno? Can this boost Johnny’s uniqueness? Do such magic with this Guilty Gear Strive mod!
This mod changes music in the GGST menu, replacing it with tracks from Guilty Gear Xrd. In addition to this, you will get the narrator's lines. Do you love that previous game and its atmosphere?
One of the character colors for Baiken becomes her appearance for Guilty Gear Xrd. With the previous GGST mod, you may get quite Xrd vibes in this modern game.
Mortal Kombat 11
Add some comic and anime characters to the fighting roster of Mortal Kombat 11. The mod changes the appearance of Sindel to Jessie, Geras to Dr. Manhattan, Raiden to Akatsuki, and Kabal to Reverse Flash.
Boost the power of your MK11 characters to the next level — at least in terms of their appearance. With this game mod, Shao Kahn turns into Silver Samurai, Sindel into Emma Frost, and Skarlet into Negasonic Teenage Warhead. Would you like to bring some Marvel atmosphere to your fights?
If you like such “cosplay” mods, take a look at our post Highlights Volume 19 — it has mods for Tekken 7 and Mortal Kombat 1.
Melty Blood: Type Lumina
Fujino Asagami is one of the characters from Kara no Kyoukai, a Japanese light novel series known also as The Garden of Sinners. It’s one of the earliest works of Type-Moon, so the addition of Fujino Asagami to Melty Blood: Type Lumina feels quite natural.
We will keep the series going on DashFight, so stay tuned to our platform for new volumes of our Weekly Mod Highlights.
