On July 4-5, fans of fighting esports could witness one of the qualifiers for Capcom Pro Tour 2020. It was an online tournament for players from South America, who play Street Fighter V: Champion Edition. The winner has got a spot at the main competition that will take place at the beginning of 2021.
Gonzalo “Pikoro” Buleje from Peru demonstrated an amazing game and brilliant results. During two days of online matches, he lost only once, to Wellington “Wellington92” Amorim from Brazil, who took second place. Another Brazilian player, Alexandro “Jah_lexe” Rodrigues, finished the event in third position.
