Red Bull Kumite Last Chance Qualifier Results: All 16 Players
Japan's representative for the LCQ in South Africa has now been decided

The Japan qualifier for Red Bull Kumite South Africa holding on the 1st and 2nd of July 2023 has now concluded and the winner of the tournament is IBUSHIGIN| Kakeru who defeated all comers to win a chance to compete for the Last Chance Qualifier event in South Africa. 

For the tournament, 15 pro players have been invited with one spot left for the Last Chance Qualifier. The Last Chance Qualifier will take place on the 1st of July and the winner will get to join the 15 players for a chance to win part of a $50,000 prize pool. 

The Japanese qualifier included a few notable players including Go1, Mizuha, and Pugera, but it was Kakeru with his JP that won and will now get a chance to fight it out with the other LCQ hopefuls in South Africa in about 2 weeks. 

As for the LCQs there are about 120 entrants hoping to win and take on some of the biggest pros in the world. In terms of big names, AngryBird will participate in the LCQ to join his close friend, Big Bird who was among the 15 players invited.
