Nintendo Will Organize New Cyber Tournament With Code Prize Packages

Nintendo has announced the Splatoon 2 North American Open tournament. It will take place from 7 to 13 September. 

Each member from the top team wins a download code prize package. The games are ARMS, Super Smash Bros Ultimate, and Mario Tennis Aces, all on the Nintendo Switch system.

Regardless of the date, this esports event will take place as a part of the NintendoVS Summer Series.

According to Nintendo, the tournament finals will be streamed “on your favorite video platforms ”live“ at 10 am PT September 13th.

The registration period begins on 6/29/2020 at approximately 9:00 AM PT and ends on 7/18/2020 at 10:00 AM PT. To participate, each member of a Team must register and join the Team at battlefy.com/splatoon2. Each member of the winning team will receive 2500 My Nintendo Gold Points (ARV $25 US each). A Nintendo Account is required to receive and redeem points.
