Mortal Kombat 11 Joins PlayStation Now
Will that bring another boost in the number of active players?

It seems like guys from NetherRealm Studios want to prolong the lifespan of MK11. Nope, I do not mean by delaying that highly anticipated announcement of their next game. Mortal Kombat 11 becomes available on primary subscription services, so it’s logical to assume that more players will try it and get involved in those bloody fights — those magical words “for no additional cost.”

Starting from January 2021, MK11 is part of the PlayStation Now library. It’s the next big step after adding the game to Xbox Game Pass.

PlayStation Now is a cloud gaming service that allows players to enjoy PS2, PS3, and PS4 games on a PlayStation 4/5 or PC — even on outdated laptops, only a high-speed Internet connection is required. PS4 games (like Mortal Kombat 11) can be installed on the PS4 and PS5 consoles to not be dependent on the limitations of streaming from the cloud.

PS Now already has quite a few fighting games: MK9, Injustice, Guilty Gear Xrd -REVELATOR-, BlazBlue Calamity Trigger / Continuum Shift / Chrono Phantasma, Ultra Street Fighter IV, King of Fighters XIII, etc.

It is still unknown for how long MK11 will be available here. For example, SFV was excluded from the library after being on the service for one year. Still, it’s enough time to have some good fights.

What do you say? Are you ready to greet fresh beginners on the online multiplayer stages of Mortal Kombat 11? You could tell them 10 MK facts they probably don’t know
