Street Fighter VI was initially slated for 2021

The release date of the new part of the popular fighting game series - Street Fighter VI has been postponed indefinitely. This happened due to the departure of Yoshinori Ono from Capcom. He was a really longtime employee and producer of Street Fighter's series. He worked on the SF franchise since 1998.

According to media reports, he left Capcom in the midst of Street Fighter's VI production. Ono worked for over two decades at Capcom and served as a producer on a number of their games, including Street Fighter IV, Street Fighter V and Street Fighter X Tekken. In fact, he was behind the revival of the entire franchise thanks to the release of Street Fighter IV.

So, Street Fighter VI, which was initially slated for a 2021 release date, is delayed indefinitely.
