This esports organization existed for five years.
It’s always nice to write about positive things happening in the fighting games community. Someone wins a tournament. A new game will be released soon. Alas, the industry has the other side, less cheerful. For example, Armada Esports announced that they are closing operations starting from February 28.
It’s not easy to find something positive here. Armada was founded in 2017. The organization worked within Super Smash Bros. esports, sponsoring some pretty talented players and content creators. These people should look for new opportunities now.
Ok, that might be a good thing. Those new opportunities should open new pages for careers of ex-Armada folks, so let’s try and focus on this positive aspect. Everything that happens is for good!
