This YouTuber Just Pulled off The Sickest Shang Tsung MK1 Combo

Early access for Mortal Kombat 1 went live yesterday and fans have been having a field day with the game so far. Some of the early reviews have said the story mode is definitely the best from Netherrealm so far and some will argue that it is the best in fighting games, period. 

But, another thing that gets people hype when new fighting games come out are combo showcases where players show the power of characters. 

We saw quite a bit of that on day one, but one of the most remarkable was from the YouTuber, Waz. Waz is a prominent Mortal Kombat content creator and in his showcase where he tried out all the characters, he pulled off one with Shang Tsung that took out over half the health bar. 

Waz used Shang Tsung and Scorpion as a Kameo. The combo doesn't look optimal due to scaling, but it looks so inviting. The combo carried the opponent from one end of the screen to the other and back again and was finished off with a Krushing Blow attack. 

According to Waz, this took him over two hours of trying before he was able to pull it off perfectly.

SonicFox has also been hard at work with characters and there was a showcase also with Shang Tsung which almost finished off the opponent's health bar. The difference with Sonic's combo is that it wasn't a continuous one and is more like two long combos that almost caused a TOD. 

Sonic has showcased other characters and even got a tweet from Ed Boon who said he was scared of the combos SonicFox would come up with.

SonicFox is to take on Waka Flocka on the 18th of September in an exhibition and Sonic looks in good shape for that event.
