The Pro Kompetition action at CEO 2025 for Mortal Kombat 1
CEO 2025 is smack in the middle of the Pro Kompetition season when it comes to its Kombatant Tier events, with 210 points up for grabs for the champion, and Evo is the only Demi-God tier event left in the calendar. This was a chance for American players to score some points.

CEO 2025 Mortal Kombat 1 Top 8
With just over 128 players in the bracket, Mortal Kombat 1 was one of the first major titles in the event to conclude. It featured a top 8 filled with American talent. The opening match of the top 8 saw Chilean Gamescom LATAM 4th place SnakeDoe face off against Grr in an intense 3-2 series. Onlinecale, who most recently won the North American League West Regional Final, also defeated his opponent Rewind in a close series to secure his spot in the winner's side finals.
Over on the lower side, Rewind would recover, going back to back 3-0 against Dyloch and Grr to face Onlinecale for the rematch, but that would be as far as the Paragon player would reach. While Onlinecale moved back up to face SnakeDoe, who had looked dominant the first time around, he then fell 3-1 for the reset and finally 3-0, giving Onlinecale another major win and pushing him up to 100th place in the international standings.
