Street Fighter V Top 8 at Frosty Faustings: Justakid Dominates

The Chicago special, Frosty Faustings XV 2023, happened over the weekend, and the competition, as always, was a sight to behold, with top competitors from all over the states and internationally coming in to prove their worth at a packed event.

Justakid continued his upward trajectory in the Street Fighter V scene as he took home another major honor. Justakid was the winner of Frosty Faustings 2023 defeating Dual Kevin in Grand Final , 3-1, to claim victory.

Justakid has been on a very impressive run over the past year or so, winning and placing highly in various tournaments. His most prestigious run was at Evo 2022 where he made it to Top 8 before crashing out. But since then he claimed second place at First Attack, placed first at Roundhouse, came fourth at Defend the North, and was part of the CLG team that came second place at Street Fighter League USA.

Justakid was clearly excited about his win and said that this is great practice for Capcom Cup, which starts next week. Justakid was one of the first players to qualify and was rewarded with one of the most difficult groups at Capcom Cup as he has to duke it out with Kawano, The4philzz, Phenom, Younghou, and Doomsnake.

We wish him all the best, and considering how well he has done recently, we would not put it past him to cause an upset or two at Capcom Cup.
