Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition July Stats Released

Street Fighter 5: Champion Edition character selection and combat stats for July are now available online. Esports journalists note Seth's rise in popularity. The latest DLC contender was being regarded as very strong early.

Back in June, Seth was the 8th most-used character online, falling behind the likes of characters such as M. Bison and Zangief. Last month, however, Seth climbed up above Bison in popularity, becoming the 7th most-used character online and the second most-used Season 4 fighter - with only Kage placing higher.

Seth began to actively select by high-level players and show good results in tournaments.

Also noteworthy is the character from the 4th season - E. Honda. He keeps the top ranks for best win rate in July, winning even more than Urien, F.A.N.G, and M. Bison.

The most-used character overall for July was Street Fighter poster-boy Ryu, with Akuma and Ken following him. They are followed by Guile and Kage in the July rankings.
