Soulcalibur VI at Summer Jam 2023: Results
Witcher is not afraid of nightmares

Incendiate is one of the strongest Soulcalibur players in the world, and his titles include two Evo medals. When a fighting esports event happens somewhere around the US East Coast, we kind of expect the guy to participate and win. And to be honest, this decreased the general intrigue of the SC6 tournament at Summer Jam 2023.

Sure, the matches are still great to watch, and you can’t be certain about anything when it is about the amazingly unpredictable world of fighting games.

Incendiate reached the Winners Final with no lost games. He played Xianghua in the Semi but switched to Geralt for the last matches.

OmegaXcn tried to stop Incendiate with Taki — and was sent to the Losers Bracket. Thermidor got a chance to play in the Grand Final, but his Nightmare could take only one game in the set (even if Incendiate himself put Nightmare higher than Geralt in his recent Soulcalibur VI tier list).

Incendiate is the SC6 Champion at Summer Jam 2023. Congratulations!

It will be interesting to see if the dominance of Incendiate remains after the next Soulcalibur game (SC7?) is out and many new and returning players start to compete in it actively.

But even in SC6, current Champions should be careful, as many players want to take their “throne.” Exactly this thing happened at VSFighting XI in the UK.
