A beloved voice artist who made a lasting impact in gaming has left us far too soon.
He brought Smoke, Goro, and Shinnok back to life in Mortal Kombat (2011). Rest in peace, Ken Lally, you will be missed.

Ken Lally, an actor known for working in Mortal Kombat 9, voicing the characters Smoke, Goro, and Shinnok, has passed away at 52. Lally contributed his talents to many memorable game roles over the years.

Beyond Mortal KombatLally worked on other game franchises, portraying Albert Wesker through motion capture in Resident Evil 5,  He also voiced Robert Kendo, a gun shop owner, in the Resident Evil 2 and 3 remakes. His performances as Wesker and Kendo were iconic parts of the Resident Evil series. Lally also gave voice to Klaus Kreutz in the first-person shooter Wolfenstein: The New Order.

Ken Lally leaves a lasting legacy through his acclaimed performances, creating special memories for his fans, friends, and coworkers. He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered by many whose lives he touched. The Mortal Kombat kommunity will miss him.
