Punk Finally Receives Evo Trophy

The winner of the Evo 2024 Street Fighter 6 tournament, Punk, has finally received his Evo trophy. Punk, who is in Japan currently, posted about the receipt on his social media saying simply, "Finally it’s here My Evo Trophy"

This is as other winners also received their Evo trophies including team mate, Nitro, who won the Guilty Gear -STRIVE- tournament and Senaru who was the winner of the Under Night tournament. 

This follows some mild controversy after Punk spoke out complaining about not having received his trophy after three months and worried that there was some problem or the other. Evo's general manager, Rick Thiher had responded to him back then that the reason for the delay was that the organization wanted to customize the trophies to have the players' names on them and make them even more special. 

They have been true to their word as the trophies bear the name of the winners and will certainly be a thing of pride and joy to them.
