Tanya, Baraka, and Li Mei join the roster of the upcoming Mortal Kombat 1

During their panel at San Diego's Comic-Con, NetherRealm Studios decided to open with a brand-new trailer for Mortal Kombat 1. This time Baraka, Tanya, and Li Mei were on display, showcasing some of their moves and their role in the reset timeline. The reveal also included the confirmation of Goro and Darrius as Kameo Fighters.

As we learn from the trailer, Li Mei led a group of hand-picked warrior priestesses called The Umgadi. We also have the confirmation of Tanya as a playable character who seems to be one of these warriors priestesses or at least a guard of Milena and Kitana. Finally, the trailer shows Baraka seemingly leading a rebellion against the Outworld forces following their harsh treatment and experimentation. Seems like Milena is trying to fight off turning into one herself.

That is not all however, as they also showed the first Kombat Pack Roster for the game which includes Omni-ManQuan ChiPeacemakerErmacHomelander, and Takeda.
