Mortal Kombat 1 Invasion mode looks to provide players with season content in an interesting new format for the franchise. Unlike the franchise's previous entry called Krypt, Mortal Kombat 1’s single-player focused content presents a table-top-like game for players to explore, find secrets, and eventually unlock more cosmetics through its Seasonal Koins system and chests.
Throughout these guides, we will be exploring the details of Invasions, how to complete them, tips and tricks, and what rewards you can expect in the season of the Cryomancer.
Seeking to turn all timelines into a freezing hell, this titan Sub-Zero's plan is nothing short of demented. Bi-Han's drive to conquer the world for the Lin Kuei has driven him mad, as he jumps from timeline to timeline, freezing entire realms over. Leaving with no prisoners, he ought to be stopped before there is no one left to attempt it.
Tarkatan Colony
Season 3 of MK1 Invasions starts you off in the Tarkatan Colony, one of the larger Mesas currently in the game. This time, you will be starting from the positive end of the mesa, down in the valley, and making your way through the colony. The goal is to reach the node "No Luck" where you will get the Tark-Key, which will unlock the final boss of this mesa.

As you make your way through the mesa, at the very start, you will find the first Klue Node in "Light Hearted", which says SAI-O-NARA. To unlock the chest node behind it, you will have to use Mileena's Straight Sai move (BF1) and hit at least 10 times.
Later on, in the node "No Luck," you will have another Klue, this time reading POTS VSOIHNG (STOP SHOVING). To unlock this one, you need to perform at least five forward throws. If you want a list of all Klue, irrespective of mesas, you can check out this handy guide with them all.
There is one final klue node, but it is behind the Cryomancer barriers. You must first beat the invasion boss in the final mesa to take these down. If you have already defeated him, you can head to the node "Say It Again" and solve HAIR NO EVIL using any of Sindel's Brutalities. Hint: the easiest one is D1, uppercut, and hold down during it.

You can check if you are missing on nodes by looking at the path's color. Uncleared paths are marked in green, cleared ones are in light blue, and paths you can’t move into are in red. You can also follow the green arrow for directions as to the quickest route to the end of the mesa.
Coming near the end of the mesa, you will have to face this area's mini-boss, Geras, and soon after, the Mesa Boss, Baraka. As these are special fights, there will be a bit of dialogue at the start, and both will have multiple phases, with mini-bosses having two and mesa bosses having three.

After The Tarkatan Colony
With Baraka defeated, you have a portal open to the Fengjian Village. Unlike last season, after this mesa you also have access to the Wu Shi Academy, though the level items are not as potent this time around. You may also notice fewer talismans and relics have dropped compared to past seasons. You can use the Gateway Portal mesa to level up and augment your firepower with talismans and relics found therein.
