How Long Does it Take to Unlock Havik and 5 Kameo Fighters?

The Mortal Kombat 1 development team chose an interesting concept when some characters are locked behind different game modes. That motivates players to explore various aspects of the game, but imagine the situation: you just bought a fresh version of the game and have an MK1 tournament in several hours. Will it be enough to unlock everything? The founder of CEO Alex Jebailey knows the answer. He recently did a speedrun to unlock all the characters, and it took him less than 3 hours!

Here are some useful tips:

• The Story mode can be finished within 90 minutes if you skip all the cutscenes, set the difficulty to very easy and learn the basic combos of every character.
• While playing Invasions mode (level 25 is needed to unlock all five Kameo fighters), equip the Shao Kahn relic. It will give you a 15% XP boost.
• If you find a weak opponent, play him again and again.
• Brutalities are better than Fatalities.

While speedrunning may be fun in its own way, it is still better not to skip everything in the Story mode since the game's lore is interesting, rich and worth spending your time on. Mortal Kombat 1 only recently launched, so you will have many hours of positive emotions!
