Ed Boon Pays Tribute To Game Informer

Mortal Kombat's co-creator Ed Boon paid tribute to Game Informer following the sad news that after over three decades, the game magazine which has been one of the staples of the industry, will be shutting down. 

Boon acknowledged that he is late to the party, but praised them for their hard work and effort when it came to covering video games. 

This sad declaration from Boon was preceeded by a final goodbye from the magazine's former editor-in-chief, Matthew Miller who wrote a single-paged goodbye that was heartwrenching. 

Truly the end of an era.
