Early Mortal Kombat 1 Critic Scores

Mortal Kombat 1 is coming out on September 19, but those who purchased the premium edition of the game can start playing it today. With this, we already have some critic scores for the new iteration of Mortal Kombat. VG247 gave the game 4/5, VideoGamer scored it 9/10, Press Start thought it a 9.5/10 game, with Screen Rant being the outlet with the lowest score so far: 3.5/5.

The early Opencritic score for the game is 87, five points shy of Street Fighter 6’s 92.

Metacritic has fewer scores for now, with the average being 85.

There’s a high chance of score fluctuation in the coming days, and we’ll only be able to see the user scores after MK1 is officially out on September 19.
