Demetrious Johnson vs Kenny Omega FT5 for Street Fighter 6 Ready to Go

Following a very public call-out by Demetrious Johnson to Kenny Omega on the latter's inability to defeat him in Street Fighter 6, we will be getting a resolution and know once and for all who the better player is. 

Last month, in an interview, Johnson claimed that he would absolutely body Kenny Omega in Street Fighter 6 and that he was ready to play him in a set to see who the best was. 

Kenny responded saying that he is fine with it and stating that he would be the winner instead. 

The two have been going back and forth since then, trading barbs and banter, but now we have a definite date and format for the event.

In a video released online, both Johnson and Kenny met in a sort of pre-match faceoff to promote the event. In the video, the two took metaphorical swings at each other with Kenny making fun of their height difference and even claimed that Johnson's kids, whom he met earlier, had said that he was their favourite fighter instead of their dad.

Johnson, on his part, said he wasn't sure Kenny could make good on his  boasts.

The event will go down on the 3rd of October at 4pm Pacific Standard Time.
