Capcom Pro Tour 2023 Oceania Top 8 Brackets and Results

The Cacpcom Pro Tour online season has officially begun! The first event took place for Oceania which covers Australia, Fiji, Samoa, New Zealand, to name a few. The winner for the tournament was Travis Styles who's Chun li was unstoppable and he took the Grand Final over fellow Australian, Krown. 

The Top 8 was an almost exclusively Australian affair with GhostChips the only New Zealander in the Top 8. There were some of the biggest names within the Australian FGC and it was no surprise how impressive all the sets were. 

CPT 2023 OCEANIA TOP 8

Travis Styles' win makes him the first online qualifier for Capcom Cup X, a competition he took part in last year with his Balrog. It will be another chance for him to represent his country at Capcom Cup. 

He took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to celebrate his win, thanking everyone for making it possible for him to qualify for the third time in a row for Capcom Cup. 

With Oceania done, Central America West is the next online CPT. Any other hopefuls from Oceania will need to qualify through the World Warrior program which is being handled by UNGA and you can register here.

CPT Central America West takes place on the 19th of August 2023 at which time we will have another qualifier for Capcom Cup X.
