Sadira, a deadly assassin and leader of the Red Eyes of Rylai clan, is the first completely new character introduced to the Killer Instinct series, and the first female protagonist as well. Sadira made her debut in Season 1 with the base roster of the game.
Sadira is a merciless killer with clear sadistic inclinations, and she's only satisfied by seeing her targets in pain. Dishonesty and cunning are not alien to Sadira, as she murdered her former master to claim the position of Red Eyes leader. However, she knows when to stay in line and show loyalty, as when she made a deal with Ultratech Corporation with the purpose of making the Red Eyes of Rylai clan the most powerful one.
After several unfortunate encounters and discharge from ARIA’s service in Ultratech, Sadira has been swayed by Gargos. Presumably, it was he who ordered Sadira to “prepare the way,” and she revealed her purpose to eliminate all of the competitors in the Killer Instinct tournament.
Sadira is a pale-skinned woman with unnaturally glowing yellow eyes and medium-length black hair. Her outfit is presumably inspired by Persian and Arabic culture, with a hood and decorative mask partly covering her face. Sadira also has bladed gauntlets on both arms with talons sticking from knuckles.
Sadira’s strongest side is her air mobility and ability to rushdown opponents from multiple angles, avoiding anti-airs with double jump and vertical dive kick. If she finds a weak spot in an opponent’s defense, she can easily convert any hit into a damaging combo.
However, if she is forced to stay on the ground, a large part of Sadira’s game plan will be missed. She relies heavily on jumping attacks, so lacks ground overhead, and her only invincible reversal is more of an escape than an attack, which can be punished quite easily.
