Winter Showdown 7 is an offline fighting games event ran by Colorado FGC and held at Akihabara Arcade. The event focuses on a massive variety of fighting games, it featured Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Guilty Gear Xrd, Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike, BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle, Under Night In-Birth Exe: Late[st], Street Fighter V, Tekken 7, Granblue Fantasy: Versus, Samurai Shodown, SoulCalibur 6, Mortal Kombat 11, and King of Fighters XIII.

The majority of the disciplines had their own prize pools, partly sponsored and partly funded through matcherino. Altogether Winter Showdown 7 attracted 271 players to compete for the title and prizes.
