Only a few old residents of Batavia remember the history of the Castle. In ancient times, there was a huge pit in its place, leading to the very heart of hell. Of course, one should pay attention to this moment before building such a monumental structure, but "don’t wave your fists after the fight."

The consequences of such an ill-conceived construction plan were flocks of bats that attacked the lost inhabitants of the Castle at night. In the mornings, from this pit, one could hear eerie voices, casually discussing the future bloody dinner. But the living armor walking around the Castle or the revived dead, wandering around the garden, amused and painted everyday dull life rather than frightened.

The loyal Batavia people were very fond of the young Prince Volkov because the fame of his courage and honor spread far beyond the Castle. People didn't know that a pale-faced lady often came to his bedroom at night. And the prince wasn't embarrassed by the fact that the lady shouldn't hang out at a 15-meter height outside the window, waiting on my Lord for an invitation.

Volkov was never worried about the rumors of mortals. After becoming a vampire, he cut out his heart and now could rightfully be called a heartless monarch. Thus, the enemies couldn't pierce him with their sharpened aspen stakes — bad luck.

After the battle for the Royal Castle of Batavia, Anton, Commander of the Order of the Exalted Lion, said that when they gathered all the hunters of Europe and prepared all the forces for the assault, they felt the terrible invisible gaze of the enemy directed at them.

Valhalla wasn't a part of Volkov's plans; he was counting on a different outcome. But he fights with other legends in the Grand Tournament with his usual zeal. They don't dare to call him by name, only "Das Vampyr," "Wapierz," or "Upyri." Caspian rightfully calls him Gramps.

Playstyle

Volkov's weapons are Scythe and Axe. Scythe is a rounded, sharp blade with a long handle, used for close-range fighting and provides accurate control over the opponent. Axe is a double-sided blade with a long handle, used by a legend to launch attacks that cover large areas.

The Vampire King has eight points of Dexterity, which makes his signatures quite fast, despite his Speed is only four points. He is dangerous on the close and middle distances.
